Kate Dowling, Head of Finance
Kate Dowling is Mezzo’s Head of Finance, within the Commercial and Finance team. She provides valuable financial input into all areas of the business and is responsible for the company’s cash
management, invoice processing and financial analysis.
Kate hails from New Zealand, and graduated in 2006 from the University of Otago with a Bachelor in Commerce (BCom), with a double major in Accounting and Finance. Then in 2009, she qualified
as a Chartered Accountant through the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA). She trained in an accounting practise for four years, then spent a year at a property development
company where she was head accountant for their biggest project, creating New Zealand’s first and only master-planned town, Pegasus, just north of Christchurch.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys travelling and playing netball. She was brought up in a rugby-mad family, so loves watching the All Blacks play. As such, she is a welcome addition to the team as she
adds another persective in the office to the ongoing rugby banter.
